Queen serves as the Board Director of Communications and Media for the nonprofit organization Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Chicago. She has served on this board since Winter of 2021.
She spearheads the curation of the annual art show that the organization has been curating since 2020. As a former sex worker in higher education and access to institutional opportunities, Queen utilizes this privilege to extend opportunities to individuals that may still be actively working in the sex industry.
In 2025, SWOP Chicago contributed to writing the bill HB 4410, which required law enforcement agencies to create policies by July 1, 2025. This bill bans officers from engaging in sexual acts with subjects during "prostitution"(sex worker) investigations. It also mandates automatic expungement/sealing of certain felony prostitution records and updates statutory terminology to "sexually exploited child".
Currently, Queen is pursuing a career in Art Therapy and Counseling via the MAATC program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of Cutting Edge Animation to expand her artisitic voice and utilize the vehicle of animation to uplift the struggles of mental health issues amongst BIPOC underserved communities.
With these skills and knowledge, Queen plans to intersect the vast amount of artist communities and populations through the power(s) that are expressive art therapies.
